Thank You for an Incredible Day at The Greatest Citrus Show on Earth

If you attended The Greatest Citrus Show on Earth at California Citrus State Historic Park, thank you so much for being part of such a beautiful and inspiring day.

Wedding shows can be full of energy, ideas, and conversations — and I know they can also be a lot to process. This post is meant to be a calm place you can return to after the excitement, whether we had a chance to chat in person or not.

A Little About Me (If We Didn’t Get to Talk)

I’m Dez, the designer behind Union 212 Designs, and I specialize in wedding stationery and event paper designed to feel cohesive, intentional, and thoughtfully planned — from the very beginning of your wedding journey through the wedding day itself.

I work with couples who value:

  • design that feels elevated but not overwhelming

  • guidance through the process (instead of guessing)

  • a wedding day that feels polished, seamless, and personal

If you stopped by my booth, scanned a QR code, or grabbed a card — I’m so glad we connected.

One Thing I Love Helping Couples Understand

One of the most common misconceptions I hear is that wedding stationery is something to “figure out later.”

In reality, your paper goods are often the first design decision you make — and they quietly influence so much more than people expect.

Your invitations can set the tone for:

  • the formality of your day

  • your color palette

  • the overall guest experience

When stationery is planned intentionally, everything from menus to signage feels cohesive instead of pieced together.

What You May Have Seen at My Booth

At Union 212 Designs, I help couples design:

  • save the dates and invitations

  • day-of paper like menus, seating charts, and signage

  • a cohesive look that carries through the entire celebration

Whether your style leans classic, romantic, modern, or venue-inspired, my goal is to make the process feel supported and approachable, not stressful.

This is also why planners and venues value having a stationer involved early — thoughtful paper design helps the wedding day flow more smoothly for everyone involved.

If You’re Not Sure What Comes Next

If you’re early in planning, you don’t need all the answers right now.

A great next step is simply:

  • understanding your stationery timeline

  • learning the difference between semi-custom and custom options

  • knowing what paper items you actually need (and what you don’t)

This blog will continue to be a place where I share guidance, ideas, and behind-the-scenes insight to help you plan with confidence.

And if you’re planning a wedding in Southern California and want a partner who can help bring everything together thoughtfully — I’d love to connect when the time feels right.

Warmly,
Dez
